Privacy Policy

This policy explains what HonestPerks ("we", "us") collects when you use HonestPerks, why, and the choices you have. In short: we collect your email address so we can send you offers you asked for, we never sell it, and you can leave at any time.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you sign up.
- Proof of your consent: the exact wording you agreed to, the date and time, the page you were on, your IP address and your browser type. We keep this so we can show that you asked to hear from us.
- How you found us: campaign tags in the link you clicked (such as utm_source), so we know which ads and partners work.
- Offer clicks: which offers you click and when, so we can measure which offers people like and so our partners can credit us.
- A cookie that remembers you signed up, so the offers page and click tracking work. We do not use it to follow you across other websites.
Cookies and ad pixels
We use one cookie of our own to remember that you signed up. If we run ads, we may also use Meta and Google pixels to measure which ads work and to show our ads to people who visited us. Those load only if you tap Accept on our cookie notice, and you can change your mind any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
How we use it
- To send you a confirmation email, and after you confirm, occasional emails about offers we think are worth it.
- To show you our offers page and to track clicks and sign-ups so partners can pay us a commission.
- To keep the service secure, stop spam sign-ups, and meet our legal duties.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your email address. We share information only with:
- Service providers who run our servers and send our emails for us, under contracts that limit their use of it.
- Affiliate networks (such as MaxBounty): when you click an offer we pass a random reference code, not your email, so the network can tell us if a sign-up happened.
- Advertisers: only what you choose to give them on their own website after clicking an offer. Their own privacy policies apply there.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe with the link in any email or on our unsubscribe page. We act on it right away and always within 10 business days.
- See or delete your data: email support@honestperks.com. When we delete your data we keep only a scrambled (one-way hashed) copy of your email address so we never email you again by mistake.
- California residents can ask what personal information we hold and ask us to delete it, and will not be treated differently for doing so. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep your email and consent record while you are subscribed and for up to 3 years after you leave, so we can answer any complaint, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Unsubscribe records are kept indefinitely so we honor them.
Security
Our site uses HTTPS, our database is not reachable from the internet, and access to our admin tools is password protected.
Children
HonestPerks is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
